I made this little mini album following the basic directions in the tutorial. I did not use chipboard in my version. I just layered the kraft paper and patterned paper. The inside contains two mini accordion albums.I haven't finished those, since I haven't decided who I am giving this to.

Here's the tutorial -

There is also another cute version made as a notecard holder -

That's beautiful, Diane! Are the circles along the flourish part of the rubon or did you add them yourself? The look like they might be embossed...

Daiva, the black flourishes are rub ons, they came in the Love Letters mid month kit. Aren't they fabulous?!

Diane, I think this is going to be my next project! I love what you made!

Thanks ladies! Yes, the dots are part of the rub-ons in the kit. I think they look embossed because they are a slightly darker shade than the Kraft paper, which gives them a sort of shadow effect.

This is so easy to make! I hope some of you get to try it. I would love to make some more of these. Very Happy

I managed to make one pretty quickly earlier today. I'll get some pics and share later. I also thought it would be a great brag book for my Mom, too!

After seeing yours Diane I really wanted to give this project a try! I used papers and rub-ons from the January Mid-Month Love Letters Kit.

Here's the front cover:

Here is the inside:

The stamped quote on the accordian album:

And one of the pages:

***Tip: If you're going to make this project be more generous in your use of ribbon. The wide ribbon should be at least 20" to tie easily into a knot, longer if you want a bow. And the narrow ribbon, it calls for 2 - 10" lengths, should really be at least 12" to tie a knot comfortably or more if you want to tie a ribbon.

Thanks for the inspiration Diane!
